The coaching industry has seen a steady increase in demand in the current landscape. There are jobs available in this sector to suit everyone’s needs, as they range from casual school coaches all the way to high performance and state coaches. There has been an industry shift, in the form of gender equity as the AIS have implemented an action plan to bring more females into coaching positions across the board. In addition to this, various sporting bodies such as the AFL and Football Australia have increased funding into their high-performance sector, showing that there is an emphasis on this industry.
