ACA Internship Program 2026 - Cricket ACT - Curation Intern

The Australian Cricketers’ Association (ACA) Internship Program , offered in partnership wth Infront Sports, provides unparalleled work experience opportunities for current and past professional cricketers.

Cricket ACT , in partnership wth ACA and Infront Sports, is offering a  Curation Intern  opportunity to a current, transitioning, or past professional cricketer, who is an ACA Member

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with all tasks related to turf and pitch presentation.

  • Support the preparation and maintenance of all landscaped areas and garden bed areas as required.

  • General mowing and maintenance of training fields and club grounds.

  • Learning machinery operation, tuft care techniques, and irrigation management.

  • Supporting match-day and training set up activities.

  • ​​Keeping work areas and amenities clean at all times.

  • Ensuring compliance with all Workplace, Health, and Safety (WHS) and WorkCover requirements.

  • Undertaking any other general maintenance as directed and required.

PROGRAM INFORMATION

  • Opportunities are offered by state cricket clubs, ACA, and Cricket Australia via Infront and the ACA Internship Program early in each calendar year.

  • ACA members are invited to apply with an updated CV and cover letter.

  • A formal interview process with reference checking provides an opportunity for athletes to showcase their skills, experience, achievements, and career aspirations.

  • Pre and post Interview advice and feedback is provided by Infront.

  • Successful candidates undertake a paid work experience placement opportunity of up to 300 hours.

  • Flexible timing and hours - part time, full time, off season, in season.

  • Fully supported, structured, paid, and insured throughout.
